We try to educate our clients about the Torque Lock proper methods in performing structural crack repairs.  One of the most important methods we teach is called the “Misting and Mapping” technique.  This is a process where we clean out the pool or vessel that you are working with after hosing (or sometimes pressure cleaning) and bleaching for green pools.

We let the structure completely dry and then lightly mist the structure.  Misting will allow any structural cracks to stand out as the rest of the surface dries.  Before these cracks can dry themselves, we mark them with a wax pencil.

Any shrink cracking or spider cracking should disappear, but the structural cracks will be already marked.  The installer can then proceed to use the Torque Lock templates to mark every foot.

This process will give you your total linear footage to present to your customer as billable.
